London, UK, November 03, 2017 – hfx, a long established provider of workforce time management solutions, has announced that Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes (TMCP) has selected hfx’s flexitime management solution to manage staff working hours. Using the system enables staff to log in and out directly onto the system during the working day and has enabled the organisation to benefit from increased efficiencies in capturing staff hours and reducing administration time.

TMCP is using hfx’s solution to enable all staff to log in and out when they are in the office, and also to log work done out of the office and other absences, when required. The organisation has operated a flexi system for many years with normal working hours between 9am and 5pm, with flexibility at either end of the working day.

A long time user of Wintime, hfx’s established flexitime solution, TMCP was keen to upgrade to the latest staff attendance software from hfx. TMCP opted for the cloud-based solution for the practical benefits of security and disaster recovery, with everything stored off-site, with the knowledge that there is a back-up should they need it.

Martin Attfield, Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes said; “We originally looked at several solutions when choosing a flexitime solution and found that hfx best met our needs. This also meant that we could work with hfx when we were considering an upgrade and with their expertise we were able to import our data smoothly.”

The hfx solution is designed to integrate seamlessly with HR, Payroll and other business critical systems, whilst providing a real-time facility to calculate critical business information.

“hfx helps us provide staff with flexibility around the working day. Holiday requests, time off, absence requests can all be logged directly in the system and electronically approved it’s much faster, saves time and reduces errors. Choosing hfx has definitely been an investment to support our organisation now and in the future,” added Attfield.

Nick Whiteley, MD of hfx commented; “As with all not for profit service organisations, TMCP has to be transparent about its operations and administration costs, as well as provide the right HR infrastructure to support staff at work. hfx has a proven history of providing innovative staff management systems and the latest generation of cloud solutions provide easy to use, cost effective ways for flexitime management, access control and time and attendance for organisations both large and small.”

How To Find The Best Weed Gummies ?

Read on to find out..

Did you know that weed gummies are the most popular weed-infused edibles in Canada? A study in 2019 found that 48% of likely edible consumers would choose gummies. It’s not hard to see their appeal. The brightly coloured treats appeal to adults just like regular candy does to kids.

Most Canadians who use edibles choose them because they feel they are safer and easier to use than other ways of consuming cannabis. They’re also growing in popularity with medical users, who find them a safe and dependable way to get relief.

That’s especially true now thatweed gummiesare available to buy online. Rather than trying to make DIY edibles at home, you can now rely on the experts to craft good-quality gummies that offer incredible highs. But how do you choose between the countless gummies on the market?

Read on to find out:

What to look for in a great edibleWhy so many Canadians are choosing ediblesHow to get the best out of your gummies

But first, you need to understand how weed-infused edibles affect you.

How Do Weed-Infused Edibles Work?

Weed gummies affect your body differently from smoking or vaping. When you smoke or vape, cannabinoids can pass straight from your lungs to your bloodstream. You’ll feel the effects almost immediately.

When you eat weed-infused edibles, the cannabis passes into your digestive system. From there, it’s metabolized by your liver before it eventually reaches your bloodstream. That means it takes a lot longer for the active cannabinoids—THC and CBD—to affect you.

Because it takes much longer for weed-infused edibles to affect you, it’s important not to go too hard too fast! Wait at least 90 minutes after taking your first dose to see if you feel any effects. It’s easy to overdo it on gummies, especially if you’re expecting an immediate high. Instead, wait it out and you’ll be rewarded.

People metabolizecannabis ediblesin very different ways. For some, a minimal dose (1-2mg) will leave them feeling pretty high. Others will need more than 20mg to feel any effect. Typically, 2.5–10mg is a suitable dose for most people.

Why People Love Weed Gummies ?

Gummies are one of the most popular ways to consume cannabis in Canada. Medical and recreational users are drawn to them for lots of reasons, including:

1.They’re DiscreetWeed gummies are one of the easiest and most discreet ways to get high. Unlike smoking, you don’t need to learn how to roll the perfect joint. And you don’t need to fork out for any accessories like vape pens, grinders, or bongs.

Instead, you can simply pop some gummies in your pocket and enjoy whenever the mood takes you. For medical users, gummies are easy to have on hand when you need relief from pain oranxietywhile on the go.

2.They’re Easy to DoseAll weed-infused edibles in Canada must come clearly labeled with their THC content. The THC content is written on the packet in milligrams (mg). The maximum serving size is 10mg, but that’s not necessarily the recommended serving for everyone.

If you’re new to weed gummies, try a 2.5mg or 5mg dose to start with. You can do this easily by splitting a gummy in half or quarters. Unlike smoking or vaping, you’ll know exactly how much you’ve taken. Getting the right dose of edibles is important, so pay attention.

3.They’re PredictableAnother benefit of weed gummies is that they’re very predictable. Of course, every brand will vary, so pay attention to the THC and CBD content of the gummies you’re buying. But if you find a brand you like, you can be reasonably sure you’ll have the same experience every time.

4.They Have Fewer RisksLots of people choose weed gummies because they don’t like the idea of smoking or vaping. That’s an understandable concern, and for those people, weed gummies can be a great choice.

Because edibles are ingested rather than inhaled, you avoid some of the unwanted chemicals that you inhale when smoking. This could be especially relevant for medical users, who may not want to smoke for various medical reasons.

Microsoft extends warranty for all Xbox 360s

Saturday, December 23, 2006

On December 22, 2006 Microsoft has announced that it has extended its warranty for all Xbox 360 video game consoles to one year in the United States. While this one year warranty applies to all Xbox 360 software as well, Xbox 360 accessories will still carry their original 90 day warranty.

According to a statement by Microsoft:

“Customers that experience hardware issues with their Xbox 360 within one year of purchase will have their consoles repaired at no cost. Moreover, the new warranty policy is retroactive, so consumers that may have already paid for out-of-warranty Xbox 360 repair within one year of the console’s purchase will be eligible for reimbursement of their console repair charges.”

This extension should help ease customers’ minds who have been concerned with the Xbox 360’s reputation for hardware failures. A partial list of hardware issues can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_technical_problems

People who have paid for Xbox 360 repair will be automatically distributed a reimbursement check in about 10 weeks from the present date.

Previously in September, 2006, Microsoft had waived the cost for repairs on all Xbox 360 consoles made before January 1, 2006, and refunded any fees already paid.

A full description of the updated warranty can be found here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemsetup/xbox360/resources/warranty.htm

Laser Lipo Reviews The Advantages Of I Lipo

By Louise Smith

Hi this article is a quick review of I lipo which is a new popular weight loss procedure in this I lipo review we will be looking at the treatment, the results and the cost of this sort of treatment.

I lIpo is a relatively new weight loss procedure, it is called I lipo due to the results it produces being very similar to that of a traditional liposuction surgery procedure, the advantage however of this procedure is that it is totally non-intrusive, this means there is no surgery required at all, this will obviously mean that there will be no pain and no unsightly scars after the treatment like what you would expect after any kind of surgical procedure like liposuction or other procedures like tummy tucks which both involve extensive surgical procedures.

So what is I lipo and what does the procedure consist of?

It is basically a technique that uses laser energy emitted through pads that are placed on your body in the specific area you are treating this effects the structure of fat cells in the body causing them to break down into free fatty acids and glycerol, which are then absorbed through the cell membrane channels and then transported around the body to be used for energy, this process is something that already happens in the body naturally when the body needs to use stored energy reserves therefore the procedure merely helps with an already natural accruing bodily function that happens in the body in the right situation naturally, this also means there are no adverse effects to the surrounding cells tissue or skin.

The procedure itself has been through a number of independent medical trials and is often compared to surgical procedures like liposuction.

Ultra sound has shown that after just 1 treatment in some cases up to 30% of fat in the treated area has been reduced, results can be seen almost instantly however it is recommended to do some light exercise after the procedure to speed up the process by burning the broken down fat that has been distributed through the body.

Possibly the best thing about this procedure is that I Lipo is completely painless unlike other common weight loss surgerys which can cause a lot of pain and scarring and remain painful for quite a while, a lot of people consider the feeling of I Lipo to actually be quite relaxing due to the pads that emit the laser being nice and warm.

So how much does ILipo cost? Well it is quite an affordable procedure each treatment costs around 100 with a recommended 8 treatments on average obviously some people will need less and some may need more but at an average of just 800 this really is an amazingly cheap alternative to real cosmetic surgery.

We hope you have enjoyed this article and hopefully it has given you a better understanding of this procedure if you would like to learn more about the procedure of I Lipo and why many consider it to be one of the best weight loss solutions in the market place.

More teenagers attracted to computer crime, say experts

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Security experts warn more and more teenagers are now into hi-tech computer crime. Alarmingly large number of teenagers are found peddling credit card numbers, phishing kits and cracking tips in some Internet forums. The young offenders are very likely to get caught and prosecuted due to their inferior technical skills, claim experts.

Swapping malicious programs, knowledge, stolen data, exploits and virus code are very popular with teenagers exposed to the world of computer crime. Online communities and web forums sharing application cracks, exotic exploits and virus code make it easy for teens to do the illegal activities. Many nuisance programs are written by teenagers to exploit users of social networking sites, says Chris Boyd, director of malware research at FaceTime Security.

“Some are quite crude, some are clever and some are stupid,” said Mr Boyd. Attempts to make money by dabbling in cyber crime quite often fails due to a lack of technical skills. “They do not even know enough to get a simple phishing or attack tool right,” said Kevin Hogan, a senior manager of Symantec Security Response. The teenagers often end up damaging their own PCs by the viruses they have written.

Teenagers desire to win recognition for their exploits make them post revealing videos in sites such as YouTube. They commonly sign on with the same alias used to crack a site, run a phishing attack or write a web exploit. They are thus easily tracked down by computer security experts.

Some are quite crude, some are clever and some are stupid.

Mathew Bevan, arrested as a teenager cyber criminal and then acquitted, says teens enjoy the “thrill and power to prove they are somebody”. Thus they end up sticking to the same alias, even at a risk of being caught. “The aim of what they are doing is to get the fame within their peer group,” he said. “They spend months or years developing who they are and their status. They do not want to give that up freely.”

Graham Robb, a board member of the Youth Justice Board, cautions about the life-long stigma on being caught. “If they get a criminal record it stays with them,” he said. “A Criminal Records Bureau check will throw that up and it could prevent access to jobs.”

Scientology website hacked

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

The Church of Scientology’s European website was hacked and defaced earlier today by hackers claiming to be members of Anonymous. Anonymous proponents previously hacked Scientology’s main website, www.scientology.org. The group also protested the church in February 2008.

Another website run by the church, freedom-belgium.org, was also hacked and defaced. The hacked websites contain content taken from .whyaretheydead.info, a website critical of Scientology which lists members of the Church who are alleged to have died while in its care. Anonymous has stated that whyaretheydead.info was not involved in the hacking, but the hackers merely used content from their website.

This is not the first time hackers have defaced Scientology websites. In January 2008, ‘Anonymous’ hacked the Church’s international website by using a denial-of-service attack. The attack caused the website to be inaccessible for nearly 24 hours.

Surgeons reattach boy’s three severed limbs

Tuesday, March 29, 2005A team of Australian surgeons yesterday reattached both hands and one foot to 10-year-old Perth boy, Terry Vo, after a brick wall which collapsed during a game of basketball fell on him, severing the limbs. The wall gave way while Terry performed a slam-dunk, during a game at a friend’s birthday party.

The boy was today awake and smiling, still in some pain but in good spirits and expected to make a full recovery, according to plastic surgeon, Mr Robert Love.

“What we have is parts that are very much alive so the reattached limbs are certainly pink, well perfused and are indeed moving,” Mr Love told reporters today.

“The fact that he is moving his fingers, and of course when he wakes up he will move both fingers and toes, is not a surprise,” Mr Love had said yesterday.

“The question is more the sensory return that he will get in the hand itself and the fine movements he will have in the fingers and the toes, and that will come with time, hopefully. We will assess that over the next 18 months to two years.

“I’m sure that he’ll enjoy a game of basketball in the future.”

The weight and force of the collapse, and the sharp brick edges, resulted in the three limbs being cut through about 7cm above the wrists and ankle.

Terry’s father Tan said of his only child, the injuries were terrible, “I was scared to look at him, a horrible thing.”

The hands and foot were placed in an ice-filled Esky and rushed to hospital with the boy, where three teams of medical experts were assembled, and he was given a blood transfusion after experiencing massive blood loss. Eight hours of complex micro-surgery on Saturday night were followed by a further two hours of skin grafts yesterday.

“What he will lose because it was such a large zone of traumatised skin and muscle and so on, he will lose some of the skin so he’ll certainly require lots of further surgery regardless of whether the skin survives,” said Mr Love said today.

The boy was kept unconscious under anaesthetic between the two procedures. In an interview yesterday, Mr Love explained why:

“He could have actually been woken up the next day. Because we were intending to take him back to theatre for a second look, to look at the traumatised skin flaps, to close more of his wounds and to do split skin grafting, it was felt the best thing to do would be to keep him stable and to keep him anaesthetised.”

Professor Wayne Morrison, director of the respected Bernard O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery and head of plastic and hand surgery at Melbourne’s St Vincent’s Hospital, said he believed the operation to be a world first.
